Last year, at just 34 years old, Peter’s life took a devastating turn when he was diagnosed with a series of debilitating medical conditions. Once the steady provider for his family, he now finds himself grappling with the emotional and financial strain of his illness. “I went from being the provider and carer for the people I love to being a burden they have to carry,” Peter shared.

To make ends meet, Peter and Chantelle sold their dream home and downsized their lives. Chantelle took on extra work to support the family, but even these sacrifices weren’t enough to cover the cost of their daughter Lisa’s Catholic education – a dream they’d long cherished for her.

I am still close friends with many of my classmates from our school days. I know Lisa is going to need that.”
