The four core ministries of the Archdiocese of Brisbane supports the formation of seminarians, retired priests, social services and Catholic education bursaries for children experiencing severe hardship.

However if these ministries cease to exist in its current form, then to the new ministries in its stead or if they cease to exist in any form, to the general charitable, religious and educational purposes of the Archdiocese of Brisbane."

For more than 50 years Centacare Brisbane has been the social services arm of the Catholic Church in the Archdiocese of Brisbane. A gift in your Will to the Centacare will provide help and hope to the most vulnerable among us through hospital chaplaincy, prison ministry, psychiatric pastoral care and Murri ministry.

A special fund was created in 2012 to make Catholic schools in the Archdiocese of Brisbane accessible to students experiencing hardship and crisis. Bursaries include help with children’s tuition at a Catholic school, uniforms and textbooks.
