Ever faithful God,
You insipred St Mary MacKillop with a deep devotion to Your Cross and resolute faith in Your Will. Open our eyes to see the needs of others and to respond with generosity, compassion and love so all those around us see You in our actions.
We pray for educators everywhere - in our schools, universities and homes - that they may be inspired by Saint Mary MacKillop's example of selflessness and courage, and by her deep respect for education and opportunities for all.
We give thanks for Saint Mary MacKillop's life and legacy, and ask for her intercession as we make our prayer through Jesus Christ, our Teacher and Saviour.

Prayer to end domestic and family violence
We pray today for those members of our community whose lives are impacted by domestic and family violence.
Protect vulnerable families whose lives are impacted by violence.
Help us to understand their experiences and support them in this time of need.
Care for those people working with victims of domestic and family violence, that their good work may continue and their wellbeing be supported.
May we shape our young people to value one another, so that they may have respectful and safe relationships into the future.
God of healing, hear our prayer.

Prayer for Holy Spirit Seminary
Holy Spirit, animate Banyo, your Seminary.
To staff and faith-leaders, give attentiveness to your ways.
To your students, give discernment, so that they may faithfully respond to your overtures.
To Banyo seminarians who have been ordained through the years, give the gift of unrelenting service to God's people.
Father, I ask that you bless the seminarian who most needs my prayers today.

Prayer for Priests
Mary, Mother of Jesus, throw your mantly of purity over our priests.
Protect them, guide them and keep them in your heart. Be a Mother to them, especially in times of discouragement and loneliness.
Love them and keep them belonging completely to Jesus. Keep their minds filled with Jesus and put Jesus always on their lips.
Take special care of sick and dying priests and the ones most tempted. Remember how they spent their youth and old age - their entire lives - serving and giving all to Jesus.
Dear Mary, make them humble like you and holy like Jesus.

Prayer for Centacare
God of grace and mercy,
We pray for those we support prayerfully and financially.
We pray for everyone touched by generosity and we bring to you our intentions for those who receive Centacare's services, that they may experience them as merciful and transformative.
Merciful God, we pray for Centacare staff who compassionately provide services and behind the scenes support in the name of Centacare and in the spirit of the Gospel.
Lord, in your mercy, hear our prayer.
