Please help change houses to homes for domestic violence survivors

Will you give a gift to Centacare and help turn houses into homes for women and children escaping domestic and family violence?

In partnership with St Vincent de Paul, Centacare is fitting out and furnishing five new respite support homes, and helping families who have escaped domestic and family violence in Queensland.

Families fleeing violent situations will live in these homes for up to one year. While there, they can start to rebuild their lives with the support of our Centacare Family and Relationship team. Together, we hope to provide families with a home where they can feel safe and secure.

Centacare will not receive any funding to furnish these five houses and we need the generosity of the community to help us fit out this new accommodation in order to make them ready to receive families escaping violence.

You can make a very personal difference by helping us furnish these five respite homes. Your donation will help to buy beds, a kitchen table and the furnishings that will make this space a home for those who have left everything they own.
