For as long as Thomas can remember he had considered the priesthood

“A vocation was in the back of my mind, but after high school I had my own plans. I enjoyed university, where I studied a Bachelor of Economics. Later, I worked for several years at the Queensland Treasury and I loved my work there too. I feel very fortunate to have had this life experience, but I believe that God has a plan for us all. If we pray and cooperate with God we can have peace. That has been my experience; I have peace.

The Holy Spirit Seminary is a prayerful place, and a great place to learn. This opportunity would not be afforded to my peers or me without the support of the Catholic community in Brisbane. I don’t take this support for granted and I look forward to becoming a priest, to being able to serve a faithful community who have always supported me.”
